Former Commissioner Recognized by City

Harlingen, Texas–Tudor Uhlhorn served as the District 2 Commissioner for six years.  To commemorate the work he did for the community, a small reception was held on May 15, 2019, at Harlingen City Hall prior to a Special Meeting to canvas the May 4 election results.

Uhlhorn was first elected to the commission in 2013 and won a second term in 2016.  He is the president of Rio Grande Equipment Company and very involved in the agriculture industry.

Mayor Chris Boswell presented him with a plaque as a small token of appreciation for his dedication to the City.

Speaking before the small crowd gathered in the lobby at City Hall he thanked all of the City Employees for everything they do to keep the city running day in and day out.  He also thanked the community and the residents of District 2 for giving him the privilege to represent them on the City Commission for six years.
