Christmas Tree Extravaganza & Exhibit At Harlingen Museum

Harlingen, Texas– Christmas trees of all shapes and sizes are on display at the Harlingen Arts and Heritage Museum. It’s part of the annual Christmas Tree Extravaganza & Exhibit happening now through the end of the year.

The 50+ trees belong to Families and local agencies who registered for a spot to place their very own Christmas tree or wreath inside the museum located at 2425 Boxwood Street. Participants went all out with unique and memorable decorations such as a Girl Scout tree and a Snow Woman tree.  Even the trees with the more traditional holiday decorations are works of art that everyone should stop by and see for themselves.

The museum will hold an opening reception on Thursday, December 6 from 6 – 8 p.m.  There is no charge to visit the museum however monetary donations are appreciated.

The museum is open Tuesday – Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m. This year the museum will stay open until 8 p.m. on December 13, 20, and 27 to allow more people to view the exhibit.
