The Harlingen Express is an Urban Demand-Response System providing curb to curb service for residents in the City of Harlingen, Texas.  It is a transportation system requiring 24-hour advance notice.  It primarily services the elderly and persons with disabilities.  This system  services  the general public, however, only on a space-available basis.

The Harlingen Express can transport customers to and from medical facilities, shopping centers, and other business locations within the city limits of Harlingen.  The service provided is “non-emergency.”  All vehicles are wheelchair-accessible.

Note: This service is funded through the Federal Transit Administration’s (FTA) Section 5303 Program and is managed by the Lower Rio Grande Valley Development Council   (www.lrgvdc.org)

Schedule/Fares:
Service will be provided on Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays from
7:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays from
8:00 am to 6:00 pm and on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. 

Fare:  One-way is $3.00

Round-trip is $6.00  ***Exact change is appreciated***
